Launching multiple markets
Posted in Real Estate Website Reviews By Anthony Longo, Thursday, August 21, 2008.Ok, we have been live for about 3 years and this is the 4th version of our site. Our site has existed across 33 sub-domains and we are about to begin our re-expansion with our new business model & website. The main site is www.CondoDomain.com (new homepage coming soon) The core of our site is the local sub-domains: http://Boston.CondoDomain.com (etc) Would love to get some feedback on the Boston site as other cities will have a very similar site and would also love to hear the benefits/drawbacks upon expansion of the sub-domains. Thx!!! Tony L.

Well there's certainly not much to gripe about!
My usual: where's your analytics? In your case I would also recommend CrazyEgg to get a nice heatmap of where people click on the homepage.
The rest of this is pretty subjective so take/leave as you will.
1) I would like to see more up-front focus on what it is that I should/can do at condodomain. The top banner tells us a little bit (if we don't have banner blindness) but it sounds like a lot of work.
2) What if the 1-2-3-4 thing was more prominent? Try running an A/B test of trading places with the video widget and run with the winner.
3) The widget thing in the middle is great, but if it isn't showing something I want then it's a big waste of space. Again, you could A/B this with some other content and see what works.
Hope that helps! Very nice looking work!

Looks like a site I would use if I was in the market for a condo. I would make the $10,000 flat fee more prominent. Other than that, good work.
Now you need to come up at the top of Google for condos for sale! If you need some help in that area, let me know.

Very impressive! I like the functionality. The display of lisitngs is excellent.
My most serious thought is..Why aren't you capturing your buyers info up front so that you can follow up immediately? What is your conversion rate visitors to leads?
All of our Realtor clients capture the buyers search criteria up front and we have a conversion rate of 8% to 12%.
