I have been involved in Miami real estate for over 22 years. I specialize in the South Miami Dade market which is a luxury market area. Some of the neighborhoods I work and love are Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, Coconut Grove, Key Biscayne and Coral Gables.

I have been the Vice-President of my own real estate company for the past 7 years, where I have helped over 500 families in the Miami-Dade market achieve their dream of home ownership. I work with all family types, from first time buyers to empty nesters find their dream home.

I graduated from Bennington College in Vermont and studied in Madrid, Spain for 2 years. I come from a multi-cultural family background and am fluent in Spanish.

I strongly believe in giving back to her community and spend much of my free time volunteering with various local organizations. I am currently the President of the Sisterhood of Temple Beth Am in Pinecrest. I am a visionary member of Casa Valentina in Miami, which is a non-profit organization that addresses the unique, gender-specific needs of young women transitioning from foster care to independent living.

I am also a skilled orchidist, and enjoy sewing, playing tennis and spending quality time with my family.

I agree with Mike that its easier to predict bad news, which noone will remember when times turn for the better. I think we Realtors need to be more optimistic and positive. We should let our lcoal newspapers know when houses sell, we can talk up the market and how well priced housing is now. It's a great time to buy and let's let everyone know that! I agree with all. I feel that the market as a whole still has to drop further, but when a "nice" house is priced at or below the market, we are finding that in Miami, they are selling quickly and close to full price. So I would advise not to wait if it 'feels' right. Though the flipside is that none of my buyers are emotional about any of the houses...knowing that another one will be on the market shortly. I also think that the listing agent should be required to use a professional company to negotiate with the bank for the short sale process. Most of these listing agents I've encountered don't have any idea as to what they are doing. That would eliminate alot of the deals not going through.
