Ramiro and his family reside in the Grant Park neighborhood and are actively involved in various local grass-roots organizations. Not only are they Founding Parents of the Neighborhood Charter School, his wife, Gabriela Garcia is the Founding Executive Director of the Grant Park Cooperative Pre-school - with a new campus just opening in Cabbagetown. They are also members of the Grant Park Parents Network. The Garcia's purchased the Saint Paul UMC parsonage in 1999 and keep very busy with all the projects of restoring a turn-of the century Victorian home. This, after renovating their first home home - a 1920's Bungalow just a block away on Oakland Ave. They are proud to be an active intown family and to call all of Atlanta home!
