Hi, my name is Shen Schulz and I have been a real estate agent here in Malibu for over 9 years now. I was born and raised in the area, so unlike most, Malibu has always been called home. Starting from a young age I had an instinctive calling to start my own business. At the age of 18, I got my chance and started my first business, the Malibu Car Wash; which has since been passed down but will forever remain a stepping stone in my career. In the late 80s, I attended UCLA to study exercise physiology and kinesiology while continuing to pursue different avenues of business. By 1993 I had successfully launched my 2nd business, Shen’s Environmental, carpet and air duct cleaning.

However, after a post 9/11 America, the service industry dropped significantly. As a result I looked for other alternatives to make some coin. Real estate seemed to fall right into my lap, literally. Looking at a local paper one morning I realized that everything embodied in a real estate agent were qualities that I already had, and didn’t have to fake.

For now, I am the Associate manager of Prichett-Rapf and Associates and have been successfully growing my own real estate business. I have been happily married for over 12 years and have twin boys and a dog. Life couldn’t be better.
